September 19-23: the conference Probability and Analysis 2022 in Wrocław
Along with invited talks, we plan sessions of contributed talks and a poster session. We encourage the participants to propose the titles of talks and posters--please mark your options in the registration form. The selection of talks will be made by the organizers and the abstracts will be collected separately.
The poster session will be held on Tuesday. We put no restrictions on the size of posters, but the size about A0 is recommended.
The information on allergens in dishes served during lunches can be found here.
Please register to the conference and, once approved, book your hotel early for best rates and availability. The invited speakers also need to register. The registration data may be changed and updated by sending an e-mail to the organizers at pa2022@pwr.edu.pl.
The conference fee, including the cost of the conference materials, refreshements, lunches in the conference building, and the conference diner on Wednesday evening, September 21, is 1100 PLN or 250 EUR.
The organizers have some limited founds to lower the conference fee for students. Students who need a discount may contact the organizers.
The due payment increases to 1250 PLN or 270 EUR after the deadline of August 31.

The invited speakers will generally be accommodated in Hotel John Paul II, ul. Św. Idziego 2, 50-328 Wrocław (see the map). The organizers will make the reservations according to arrival and departure dates provided by them in the registration form to the conference. The hotel is located in a historic and quiet part of the city, next to botanical gardens, at 10-15 minutes walking distance from the conference venue and 5-10 minutes from public transportation.
All other participants should make their own accommodation arrangements.
Most participants will fly to Copernicus Airport Wroclaw (WRO) or ride to Wrocław main rail station (Wrocław Główny). To find flights you may use any WWW search engine. For trains you can use PKP web site (copy-and-paste Wrocław Główny to destination field or use the interactive map, and, if available, take Intercity IC or Eurocity EC trains for better comfort). There are, e.g., frequent connections by train with Berlin and Dresden. Flying to Poznań, Katowice or Cracow and then taking train or bus to Wrocław will usually be less convenient. Driving car from, e.g., Germany or Austria may well be considered.
Transportation in the city of Wrocław is by bus, tram or taxi. The city center is generally all within walking distance. Here is a nice trip planner named jakdojade. There are also iPhone and Android applications jakdojade for smartphones. At the side of the conference building there is a multi-bus/tram stop named most Grunwaldzki, and down the street, at the nearby R. Reagan roundabout, there is a big public transportation hub plac Grunwaldzki. From here you can typically get to anywhere in the city within one hour.
The bus line 106 runs from the Airport to the Main Railway Station every 15 minutes, and the entire route takes about 40-50 minutes (depending on traffic in the city). See here for details. From the train station you can get to anywhere e.g. by tram. The tram stops are located at the opposite side of the building.
